University Safety

Colorado Technical University (CTU) is committed to ensuring a safe and secure environment that fosters positive experiences and academic growth for our students, from the physical safety at any CTU campus, to protection of sensitive personal and financial information, as well as to maintaining a community that is free from all forms of harassment. Protections via various policies have been put in place to safeguard our students throughout their academic journeys at CTU in addition to prevention and awareness campaigns and annual training opportunities for employees, faculty and students.

Information is provided to prospective students and employees as required by the U.S. Department of Education. This includes the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy, the Campus Crime Statistics Report, and information about Title IX and CTU’s Sexual Misconduct - Sexual Harassment Policy under Title IX.

All students, faculty, and employees are encouraged to report incidents of sexual harassment including quid pro quo harassment, hostile environment harassment, sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence and stalking to the University Title IX Coordinator or designee at the contact information found below.

Non-Discrimination Policy

CTU does not discriminate, or tolerate discrimination against any member of its community on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, sex/gender, age, religion, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, marital status, sexual orientation, or any other status protected by applicable federal, state or local law in matters of admissions or in any aspect of the educational programs or activities it offers. Moreover, consistent with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (“Title IX”), which prohibits sex discrimination in federally funded education programs and activities, the University prohibits sex discrimination and sexual harassment within its education programs and activities.

The Lifeline is comprised of a national network of over 200 local crisis centers, combining custom local care and resources with national standards and best practices.
